Lanes asks for a name. Make a page, name a couple of categories, start typing. There is no deeper nesting to discover later.
One for each part of your life, with an icon you pick.
Whatever the page needs. Rename, reorder, drag between them.
A line of text. A note and a date if it helps, nothing if it doesn't.
First launch takes one extra step. Drag Lanes into Applications and open it. macOS will refuse — press Done, not Move to Trash. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and press Open Anyway. Once, then never again.
This happens to every app not signed with a paid Apple certificate — it says nothing
about what the app does. If you prefer the terminal, one line does the same:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Lanes.app
